If you are going to eat eggs, make sure you have the yolk as well! The yolk is the most nutritious part of the egg and contains majority of the nutrients.

In fact, here are some facts and benefits of eating whole eggs:

👉 Eggs do contain fat, but they help to raise your HDL (aka good) cholesterol, which is known to help reduce the risk of heart disease

👉 Contains antioxidants that are in particularly good for eye health

👉 Also contains all of your essential amino acids (which are the ones you must get through food)

👉 Helps with weight loss

👉 Lower in calories but filling and extremely nutritious

In particular, eating the egg yolk provides the following benefits:

👉 Helps with reducing inflammation in the gut

Eating egg yolks in itself will not lead to high cholesterol, heart disease, or weight gain.

The truth is that egg whites provide more protein, the yolk is what contains nearly all of the fat- and water-soluble vitamins and minerals in eggs. Research shows that consuming whole eggs has more significant benefits than eating egg whites alone.

Science shows and even Ayurveda supports that you should eat whole eggs and not just one or the other. It’s best to get the synergy of the egg whites and yolks together.
